Director Edward James and his fine cast (led by Bam) deserve credit for making a porn video with a Pulp Fiction-esque feel to it. The acting in Black Ballers 2 is strong and the sex scenes build to the dialogue that follows. The action opens with Bam, Bobby Blake and Flex Deon-Blake being escorted through a cardboard box village for the homeless and handling out money to the residents to give them a boost. That is their good side. Action shifts as Bam gets word some white boys are honing in on this action. It's uncertain what the action is, but it makes him a lot of money, and the Blake boys are out to shake down every white boy they know for information on finding the culprit. At a planning session white houseboy Thomas Bond serves three of the Black Ballers. One by one, the men get closer and their dicks get harder as they pump their informants for every single bit of information they can. Beautifully shot and lit, the dvd builds to a climax as culprit Chris Young is found abducted and literally drilled for information on his sources. The ending is a surprise and befits the dvd, leaving a sequel possibility wide open. Nominated for Best Ethnic Themed Video, and Flex Deon-Blake for Best Supporting Actor.
